Location: 85 Sea Lane -In Office 5 Days per week.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage team sample send outs and shipments on a daily basis with ownership on organization, tracking and collaborating with warehouse partners on any delivers in receipt or delivery.
- Maintain Inbound/Outbound samples tracker for all Innovation Team shipments.
- Manage PD product inventory and organization, always ensuring PD product stock for reference and evaluation purposes.
- Support in formula submission evaluation and distribution for team reviews and approvals.
- Collaborate with marketing to build thorough competitive research deck on competitors with market data and analysis.
- Maintain regular in-bound batch evaluations and approvals and own batch tracker, with support from PD Manager as needed.
- Participate in regular brainstorm meetings with marketing on product copy, name and product positioning.
- Assist in meeting preparations for both internal and external teams.
- Assist in thorough and detailed proofing and review of artwork ensuring complete accuracy in deliverables.
- Support in product competitive analysis including ingredient list compares, claims and points-of-difference.
- Complete monthly product and trend deck in collaboration with marketing to help team stay abreast of all new market launches.
- Handle competitive shopping, distribution, organization and tracking.
- Support overall new development quality reviews and evaluation, ensuring production is up to team standards and expectations.
- Assist with creation of shade swatch sheets and populating relevant information into product sheets in partnership with PD Manager.
- Support in formula submission evaluation and feedback.
- Maintain and communicate weekly project status report.
- Handle artwork and copy sheet review and proofreading ensuring attention to detail and accuracy.
- Support entire product lifecycle of creating and launching new products.
- Own and maintain office organization and innovation spaces including formula, packaging, supplier trade show and competitive samples.
- Help record meeting takeaways and action items with detailed note taking in Innovation and cross-functional meetings, to help support and drive development milestones.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-3 years of professional Product Development/ relevant experience.
- Experience in Beauty industry is a must.
- Thrive in a start-up environment with an all-hands-on-deck positive attitude.
- A passion for the beauty industry and a clear understanding of development milestones.
- Must be a proactive, self-starter and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
